Astronomin förstör vårt internet

Dear Sir/Madam,

This email serves to inform you of some expected outages in March 2008 on our Internet backbone link at our Lusaka PoP.

Microlink is connected to the Internet backbone through a satellite system. This system is prone to brief periods of solar interference in March when the sun lines up with the satellite for a few minutes each day. During that short period the satellite link will go down, and you will therefore not be able to access any services on the Internet. We have included below the approximate times of these outages.
